Harvest Sermons using iTunes (RSS feed)

Podcasts are a way to automatically list Harvest’s recent sermons without even having to visit the web site! The program automatically downloads the list and the most recent sermon. You can listen at your computer, burn a CD, or transfer to your iPod or other media player using iTunes or other RSS feed reader, in addition to the other methods at http://hopc.org (For more about podcasting, see Wikipedia - ‘Podcast’.) Simply point your favorite media player to http://hopc.org/audio/hopcpodcast.xml (detailed instructions provided below) and tune in. Share the news with your far-away friends and family, too!

Getting a Message using iTunes

The instructions here are for the iTunes program, but these podcasts can be received by other podcast-enabled media programs.

1. If you are using another RSS feed reader, see step 4. If you do not have iTunes yet but want to install it, download and install Apple’s iTunes media player. Download is available for Macintosh and Windows at http://apple.com/itunes.

2. Open iTunes and select ‘Advanced’ from the menu bar.

3. Select ‘Subscribe to Podcast’.

4. Copy this address to the URL box:
http://hopc.org/audio/hopcpodcast.xml

5. To listen to your podcasts:

• select ‘Podcasts’ in the source pane on the left side.
• To check for new podcasts, click the ‘Update’ button in the upper right corner.
• To download a podcast, click the ‘Get’ button next to it.



• To listen to that podcast, click the play button in the upper left corner.
